Diva (above) are a newly minted Edinburgh wedding band who perform as a female fronted quartet. Their repertoire is vast, taking in acts as varied as Led Zeppelin, Amy Winehouse, Chic and Florence and the Machine. If required, they can also provide a short ceilidh set. The band comprises Joe Herzburg on drums who started his musical career in big bands playing swing music before moving to London to join Groove Armada in the 90’s. After a five year stint playing on cruise ships around the Caribbean he’s finally settled in Scotland. On bass guitar Steve Whitlock , the musician who isn’t afraid to funk it up and merge musical styles to great effect. Providing the riffs and licks we have the talented Phil Hopwood on lead electric guitar. Phil cut his musical teeth playing 60’s music with Merseybeat legends The Fourmost before moving to Spain to tour the Spanish islands then finally moving to Scotland to join The Gillyflowers.

Providing the Diva power house vocals is Edinburgh chanteuse Sara Forshaw. From soul, rock to disco this singer will be giving it her all in a leopard print fish tail dress.

Lynn Bellamy (right) is a recent graduate of the Alexander Gibson Opera School at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Lynn has already had a varied career across the UK, regularly performing as a solo performer, as well as part of a variety of ensembles and opera companies including Opera Bohemia, Scottish Voices, Semper Cantate and Les Sirenes Female Chamber Choir. Lynn is a regular performer at wedding ceremonies and private functions, and prides herself on providing the perfect music for any occasion. She can sing with live accompaniment , backing track, or unaccompanied as preferred. Lynn can provide a pianist, or another singer or group of singers to perform duets and ensembles if appropriate. Lynn is always praised on her repertoire choices for events, and thrives on helping events go without a hitch. She will always take on board and suggestions or requests made by the client, and is also able to advise on music selection as required.

Jamie Wilson (left) is a solo pianist based in Edinburgh who available to provide a perfect backdrop to your wedding, dinner party or private function. Playing from an extensive repertoire covering easy listening classical, jazz, pop and contemporary music, Jamie is happy to help you choose the perfect songs for the ceremony and drinks reception. Jamie has enjoyed residences in hotels and restaurants throughout Scotland including the Caledonian Hotel in Edinburgh.

Slide and Fiddle (below right) comprises Chris and Alexandra who offer the beautiful sound of acoustic slide guitar, also known as Dobro and violin/fiddle.  They perform a mixture of traditional folk tunes from the Celtic, bluegrass and old-time songbooks, along-side classic contemporary songs. They’re very experienced at live performance having worked professionally for many years. Chris is a specialist slide guitarist who writes for the national guitar press as well as working as a session guitarist in the studio and on tour. Alex is a classically trained viola player who has toured the festival circuit as a session musician, including performing at the Glastonbury music festival.

Acoustic Blonde (bottom) are a exciting and upcoming acoustic duo. They use a combination of acoustic and electric guitar and they take popular songs from the 70’s to the present day and guarantee to have everyone engaged and entertained. Their professional experience of performing with a range of talented and professional musicians, means they’ve seen first hand what a good performance requires. They’ve developed their skill set and their set lists reflect this knowledge. They know what gets an audience up on their feet and dancing the night away. All their songs are interchangeable between acoustic and electric. They use a combination of electric guitar and professional backing tracks to ensure an exciting and uplifting performance that will see everyone on the dance floor from start to finish. Their acoustic set is takes both laid back acoustic covers as well as turning popular, upbeat covers and giving them the acoustic makeover!
