We’ve Got Your Back: Our Corona Virus Policy On Entertainment Bookings…

Protect live music bookings during corona virus covid 19

In light of the most recent update from the government relating to the Coronavirus lockdown, it seems highly unlikely that events will be permitted before the end of June.

What that means if your event falls within this period…

In the first instance, we will be contacting all affected clients and acts to attempt to reschedule bookings wherever possible. To assist with this process we would ask that clients please speak to venues to explore what alternative dates could be secured.

In the vast majority of cases we’re happy to say we are finding that we’re able to negotiate an alternative date. However, where the rescheduling of an event is not possible for whatever reason, clients will receive a refund on any balanace payments made. In addition to this, to help support clients and acts alike, rather than retaining non-refundable deposit payments, we will be offering this as a credit towards any Freak Music booking you place within the next 2 years.

We hope these efforts will go some way to add a glimmer of positivity to these unprecedented times and we greatly appreciate your understanding and patiences while we work our way through all our affected clients.

Events beyond this period…

For events that fall beyond the current lockdown period, we continue to be led by the position taken by venues on a case-by-case basis and government advice, however, we will review this situation as and when the government review the current restrictions on events. For more details on how these future events may be affected, please see our earlier statement which remains our policy in relation to bookings falling beyond the lockdown.

Thanks for your patiences…

Freak staff will be contacting all affected clients as soon as we can, however, if you have any additional questions or would like to discuss your postponing options please get in touch with us via [email protected].

As I’m sure you will appreciate, we are experience a high volume of communication and are trying are very best to get back to everyone as swiftly as we can.

Our heartfelt sympathies continue to go out to everyone affected by this upsetting situation and let us all hope we can get back to life as usual sometime in the not too distant future.

Best wishes,
The Freak Team.
