It’s been a busy few weeks at Freak Towers, not least as we moved a few blocks away to a swanky new office in the heart of Edinburgh’s New Town, just off Thistle Street. We still managed to add a fair amount of new wedding and function acts to the roster though, check them out below.
Meet The Roamantics! (top) the number one acoustic, roaming band in the Midlands. They are a super talented, quirky, interactive band, that can suit a wide range of events that want that unique and interesting twist. With no ugly PA systems and fully acoustic, no strings attached, they are the perfect choice for drinks receptions, wedding receptions and festivals. They will roam around the party, playing favourite tunes from all the decades that will really get the good vibes flowing! Available for all party sizes and budgets.
Madison (right) are a professional three-piece party band based in the North West of England with a wide range of experience that they bring with them to every event and party they perform at! As well as being in the wedding business for the last 10 years, Madison have also toured much of Europe including; France, Sweden, Spain, Italy, Thailand and all over the UK. They have even caught the attention of one or two celebrities and have played events for people such as John Barnes, the Liverpool FC legend, Theo Paphitis from Dragons Den and Nina Hossain of ITV News fame. The band also have residencies at Liverpool’s famous Cavern Club, Anfield Football Club and The Hard Rock Cafe in Manchester.
Tsvetelina (bottom) is an Edinburgh based freelance harpist. She has been a resident harpist at The Ritz Carlton Dubai, Gloria Hotels and Resorts in Antalya, Turkey, and “Ophthalmos” Eye Laser Centre, Cyprus. Her repertoire includes Classical, Film, Popular, World music and Jazz. She has performed on the international stage from United Arab Emirates, through Europe to the United Kingdom, where she is currently based. Her concert experience include solo, chamber and orchestra performances with professional, semi-professional, youth and amateur orchestras around UK, Europe and UAE at venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Symphony Hall, Town Hall, National Palace of Culture Sofia, Bulgaria Hall, Thessaloniki Concert
Hall and many more.
Based in London, Chris James (left) is an up and coming Jazz singer from the UK who has emerged onto the scene as one of the best voices around. A deep, rich tone with a power and soft subtlety reminiscent of the greats. Chris began performing from the age of 15 and achieved success in his early days with his high school band getting play time on BBC Radio 1, Radio 2 and supporting bands like ‘Reef’ and ‘Basement Jaxx’. He went on to study at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts where he graduated shaking hands with one of his idols Paul McCartney.
Harmony 3 (right) are one of the hottest new acts to hit the entertainment industry! Stunning vocals, fabulous choreography and beautiful costumes from three talented performers who bring a fresh approach to Soul Motown and Disco. They can be booked as a trio of singers with backing tracks or with a variety of band options from a quartet up to a 7 piece and tae their musical cues from acts such as Martha and the Vandellas, The Supremes, Tina Turner and Marvin Gaye.
