The Soul Department

The Soul Department is an 8-piece, Midlands based soul and Motown band with three live horns and an energy you have to see and hear to believe. Their authentic sound is perfectly balanced with unique arrangements, giving a modern lift to all your favourite soul numbers and some more modern party tunes too.

This repertoire includes masses of Otis Redding, Sam and Dave, Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner etc, plus takes in more modern songs such as Uptown Funk and Mark Ronson tracks and they're also happy to learn a new song or two.

Good reviews usually state pros and cons however, the band genuinely do not have any cons! They were professional from the onset, sounded incredible, looked incredible, great repertoire, were brilliant fun and had our wedding party rockin'!!!
