About this Act
ELO Beatles Beyond is a versatile band that can perform a set of ELO and a set of Beatles music or 2 sets of ELO or 2 sets of Beatles or two sets of mixed ELO, Beatles, Paul McCartney and Wings. The band are fronted by top Jeff Lynne, Paul McCartney (and other Beatles if you choose Beatles sets) sound and lookalikes, dressed in costumes, with authentic instruments. The band perform the greatest hits of Electric Light Orchestra (ELO), The Beatles, Paul McCartney and Wings and some related material such as Tom Petty, and Traveling Wilburys with a sound very close to that of the records.
In the 1970's two of the biggest acts in the world were ELO and Paul McCartney and Wings. The setlist can be very disco and dance friendly with so many 70's classics available in the set.
The links between Lynne and McCartney go back decades and it is a celebration of this fabulous catalogue of songs that the band performs. Whilst the lead singers are always dressed as Lynne and McCartney and sounding like those two, the band are able to change their voices to sing in the style of John Lennon, George Harrison, Tom Petty etc. when performing that other material.
