About this Act
The Petty Heartbreakers is a celebration of the late great Tom Petty, with and without The Heartbreakers. The band's repetoire starts with the first album in 1976 to the the final albums Hypnotic Eye and Mudcrutch 2. The band cover all the hits, many album tracks and much more including some of the covers Tom Petty recorded on live albums over the years.
Tom Petty didn't play in the UK very much, but headlined Hyde Park in 2017 and the Isle Of Wight festival in 2012 and was a very big drawing act. The Petty Heartbreakers aim to give Tom Petty's fans an opportunity to hear his music live in the UK and beyond. The band have a huge love for the man and the band. The band pride themselves on vocal and instrumental accuracy, focusing on the records that Tom Petty made especially.
Even people who don't think they are familiar with Tom Petty's music are usually amazed by how many songs they know. If you are a Tom Petty fan though, there's nearly everything you could wish for. As well as gigs and festivals, the band are also available for private bookings, parties, weddings, functions, conventions. Tom Petty's music appeals across generations as he was active from the early 70's until 2017, spanning over 40 years.
The band are regulars on the tribute circuit and have played at various festivals drawing great reviews for their vocal and musical accuracy and showmanship.
