    About this Act

Blind Tiger, a name taken from the prohibition-era secret bars, is a band who reinvigorates contemporary songs with a cool, quirky twist. Imagine a shot of jazz, a splash of latin, a glug of 1950s New York, and you’ll be getting into the swing of things.

All members are experienced musicians hailing from America to Accrington, and have worked professionally with artist such as; KT Tunstall, Ed Sheeran, Turin Brakes, Curtis Stigers, Grammy award winning songwriter/producer Eliot Kennedy (Bryan Adams, Celine Dion, Spice Girls), The Animals, Steve Cropper (Booker T and The MG’s), Paul Heaton (Beautiful South), Plan B, Spencer Davis, Eric Shenkman (Spin Doctors), Janet Devlin (X-Factor), an appearance on Later with Jools Holland and most recently, live on Blue Peter with The Mend!

    Testimonials

"We just wanted to thank you again for such a wonderful evening of music. So many guests expressed how much they LOVED you. I will certainly pass your contact details on to them all. You created the most wonderful atmosphere for our evening and we're extremely grateful.

Please know how much we appreciated your contribution to our wedding celebrations. Hope you have a very lovely future together."

    Rachel & Kerry - July 2015

"You were absolutely fabulous, we loved it. Everyone thought you were brilliant - thank you for making the night!

Hope to see you again soon; we want you to play again, just need another excuse for a party. Such a fantastic night - thank you so much!"

    Ben - July 2015

"Bar the decision to get married, choosing Blind Tiger to play at our wedding in the Cotswolds (30.05.2015) was by far the best decision we made!

With an opera singer, members of a Scottish folk band and even a former BBC composer amongst our guest list, we knew we had a hard audience to please. Blind Tiger wowed us all, got everyone dancing and gave in to not just one, but three encores to please our guests.

Thank you - we really think you guys are brilliant!"

    Lindsay & Piers - June 2015

"We booked Blind Tiger to play a set at our Wedding. They were absolutely fantastic and created exactly the vibe we were looking for, getting everyone onto the dance floor for a boogie! Bess and the band went above and beyond, creating a personalised set-list for us and ensuring they played our favourites, even leaving us a bottle of bubbly to celebrate. Organising for the band to play was so very easy, with them in constant contact up to the wedding day. We couldn't recommend them enough, thank you for making our day extra special!"

    Andrew & Annika - May 2015

"Some of the finest musicians in the country - stylish and sophisticated but SO full of life. The beautiful lead vocals sound even better live and the other musicians ooze professionalism and panache. The arrangements are fresh and work really well for both 'chilled out' and party atmospheres. Proper musos, proper band. The absolute real deal."

    Greg H - February 2015

"Blind Tiger played a set to support me at my album launch and they brought a great chilled out, sophisticated vibe to the evening. There was lots of positive feedback from people in the audience afterwards."

    Sharon Cooke - Augustwildflower

"I just wanted to say thanks for Saturday night, you guys were amazing! We had so many comments on how great you were from our guests as well. Your rendition of Heartbeats was fantastic and exactly what we had hoped it would be. Another highlight was your impromptu Mr Brightside that you were effectively bullied into! Definitely think you should add it to your set list. Also, a big thank you for the bottle of Prosecco, such a thoughtful touch that we will certainly enjoy. Thank you again!!"

    Pippa and Toby :-)
