Kabasa (right) have been playing authentic Latin-American music since forming in 2008. The band is based in Penzance and it might seem remarkable that a Salsa band could spring up in such a far-flung location, but it reflects the presence of a large creative community in Cornwall that has attracted a wide variety of accomplished professionals in many fields. Kabasa aren’t just authentic, but tight and well-rehearsed; they deliver powerful, vibrant music and very much do what it says on La Tin… 🙂
Tom Bleasby (left) is an outstanding performer who has been singing since the age of 6. Based in Leeds, he can be booked for wedding and corporate events up and down the UK and has a repertoire that takes in acts as diverse as Bob Dylan, Queen, Justin Bieber and Celine Dion. On the 24th May 2015, Tom joined British singer Jessie J on the Smule! Sing Karaoke App, singing the song Flashlight. The video went viral across the world amassing a collective audience view of tens of millions. The vocal battle was picked up by most of the world’s media outlets including some famous names, Perez Hilton, Lil Wayne and Ashton Kutcher.
AJ (right) is a natural, talented background guitarist who performs a stunning repertoire of beautiful instrumental arrangements of classic love songs, ideal for adding a wee bit of romance to your wedding day. He provides a unique, laid back and delicate sound, which is ideal for but not limited to the wedding ceremony, drinks reception and wedding breakfast. He comes fully self-contained with amplifier and can set-up quickly,making him the ideal choice when booking for the wedding ceremonies and drinks receptions.
