About this Act
Vanguard Collective are a new energetic and dynamic duo. From performing classic rnb and soul tunes to hip-hop and rap's most coveted songs, they will bring fun and good vibes to the stage and get people off their feet.
Their full repertoire includes - RnB, Rap, Hip-Hop, Motown, Soul, Reggae including both covers and originals.
Both members of the band are full time musicians and performers with over 20 years of experience each. Front man Jason Hayles (aka J The Exodus) was recently a semi-finalist on The Voice UK with both team Anne Marie and Olly Murs, he was also a top 10 finalist in the MOBO unsung competition and is a former Brit School of Performing Arts graduate.
Multi instrumentalist AJ Brinkman is versatile musician who plays keys, percussion, bass, guitar and also vocals he has toured or played with the likes of So Solid Crew, Shola Ama, Beverley Knight, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Cynthia Erivo, House Gospel Choir and more.
VC are also scalable and can add more vocalists and/or instrumentalists depending on size of event and client needs.
