Foot stompin', thigh slappin' bluegrass from the deep south (of England).

Formed in the winter of 2009, Dr Bluegrass and the Illbilly 8 draw inspiration from a wide range of unusual sources for their unique choice of songs. Everything from traditional bluegrass and gospel, to Irish folk, pop and rock ensures that there is something for all ages, played with an energy and virtuosity that belies their young age.

Available for hire for hoedowns, shindigs, hootenannys and barn dances.

Where are they based?

The band are based in Brighton but are willing to travel anywhere in the UK or Europe.
