About the Band

Alhambra is a Flute and Guitar duo performing Classical, Popular and Spanish music. Alhambra also perform a selection of well arranged folk songs. Audiences around the country have been overwhelmed by their expressive and soulful performances. The intricate combination of guitar and flute are likely to massage the listeners ears for the duration of the performance and be left wanting more.

Alhambra have performed extensively throughout the UK providing music for wedding ceremonies, receptions, corporate events as well as performing on the concert platform.

Jan Straczynski (Guitar) is a graduate from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and Louisa Gard (Flute) is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music. Alhambra has an extensive repertoire and with a little notice can tend to your own taste if there is a particular song/piece you wish to hear.

Where are they based?

This band are based in Glasgow but regularly play through Scotland and the rest of the UK.
