About
Sophie is a classically trained singer from the Scottish Borders. At the moment she is in her final year of a Music Education degree at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where she studies with Margaret Izatt. Sophie has performed all over Scotland and in Germany, as well as New York. She is a very experienced and reliable performer, with a fresh and appealing voice.
Sophie is very proud of her involvement in 'The Gift Song'- an arrangement by Andrew Russel. Sophie sang this song in New York, September 2011 to audiences in Union Square, Penn Station, Herald Square and British Memorial Garden where audience members included the British Consulate General and the Canadian Prime Minister. A recording was made in Manhattan's Skyline Studios, and a link to an unmixed version heard on the video link up to the right.
Sophie's clear Soprano voice lends itself well to many styles including Pop, Jazz and Scottish Music. Sophie is an extremely versatile performer and has the technique and range to sing most songs. Sophie has an extensive repertoire (just a handful of songs can be found below) but prides herself on her ability and willingness to learn new material for clients.

Sophie is happy to sing anything you would like for your wedding ceremony or event as most songs are in her vocal range.
