About the Band

Since their formation in 2003, ABBA-CADABRA have performed to sell out crowds all over the UK. Their ability to reproduce the unique ABBA sound, which very few tribute acts have been able to achieve, has meant that ABBA-CADABRA have performed in some of the UK's most prestigious theatre tours, corporate events and private functions. Unlike so many other ABBA tribute Bands, ABBA-CADABRA play and sing LIVE. No miming, just pure musical talent from some of the UK's best musicians!

Unlike other ABBA tribute acts, ABBA-CADABRA perform LIVE as a six piece band with our own sound and lighting technicians. Talented singers, Jacqui and Nicky, provide the lead vocals, reproducing those difficult harmonies perfectly, whilst performing stunningly choreographed dance routines. Dazzling costumes, funky boots and blue eye shadow add to the fun! Glynn tinkles the ivories, whilst singing lead male vocals and James gives the band its unique rocky edge by playing lead guitar faster than anyone you have ever heard, but still managing not to fall off those high silver platform boots!

The musical backbone of the group is provided by our excellent rhythm section. Our superb bass player Dave, manages to reproduce all of Rutger Gunnerson's famous basslines (and moustache) perfectly. Billy, or Animal as he is better known, is one of the UK's most sensational drummers who brings the songs to life with an energy no other ABBA tribute band can match.

The show is available in several different formats to suit all venues and events. Our current packages are as follows:

The Theatre Package:- For town halls,theatre performances or very large corporate events, the show comprises of two 60 minute sets packed with all of ABBA's greatest hits and dazzling showmanship that only a true live band can accomplish. Stunning costumes, specially choreographed dance routines and hilarious banter between the girls and guys all contribute towards what is probably the greatest ABBA tribute show in Britain.

We guarantee you will be dancing in the aisles by the end of the night! A massive 9KW PA system and a state of the art intelligent lighting system ensures that ABBA-CADABRA sound and look excellent every time. For an extra fee, we can provide a video projection system with a separate technician to allow your audience to sing along and follow the action on stage. This is a truly spectacular show which has thrilled audiences all over the UK.

The Corporate Package:- For corporate events, weddings and private hire, the show can be extended to two 60 min long sets featuring all of ABBA's greatest hits and a few surprises thrown in. Dazzling costume changes and outstanding musicianship will make your event without a doubt, the most fun packed ABBA night ever!

Also, to ensure all the dancing queens and kings have a great night, we more than happily provide authentic 70's background music before, and after our performance.

The Standard Package:- Our standard package features two 45 min sets by the live six piece band. Dazzling costumes, choreographed dance routines and outstanding musicianship will cast a spell over your audience. To accommodate smaller venues, our PA system is scaled down to 4.2KW. Our lighting rig is also scaled to suit the size of each venue. We also provide 70's disco music before and after our performances to ensure that the audience has the time of their lives from start to finish.

Band + DJ Package:- If you are organising an event and considering booking a separate DJ to perform before/after ABBA-CADABRA's performance. We now offer a Band + DJ package. For a small extra fee, we can supply an experienced DJ to keep the audience dancing all night by playing everything from classic floor fillers to current chart hits.

Where are they based?

Based in Glasgow but will travel all over Scotland and the rest of the UK.
