About the Band

The Thistle Dubh Ceilidh Band were formed at the dawn of the new millennium. Their creative, energetic and vibrant style of playing, will ensure that their blend of music is enjoyed by the novice, discerning dancer and musical enthusiast alike.

In demand throughout Scotland and the rest of the UK (as well as entertaining audiences in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Brussles, Prague and Stockholm), you can be assured that attending a 'Thistle Dubh' Ceilidh is guaranteed to be a real (or should that be reel) foot tapping experience from start to finish!

All dances will be called by the band if required, ensuring a memorable ceilidh experience is enjoyed by all.

To keep up with the needs of diverse audiences in the 21st century, the band offer a much requested and popular Disco package to compliment their ceilidh. All in all, we think you'll agree that 'Thistle Dubh' can provide the Perfect Entertainment Package for your function.
