About this Act

The Afrosoul Ensemble are based in Brighton. Original music and covers fusing funk tunes with music from the heart of '70s Africa - expect blistering brass, stunning harmonies and an explosive rhythm section!

The group is formed from a number of very successful world music and funk bands who have received airplay on BBC Radio 1, 2 and 3 and 6 Music, played live from the BBC's Maida Vale studios, and played at some of the UK's top venues and festivals such as Glastonbury and London's Southbank Centre.
