About this Act

Born and raised in the small town of Keith in the North East of Scotland, Amy Paparansky began playing the piano at the age of 8 followed by the fiddle at the age of 12 and sang from the age of 5. Amy has been Classically trained in all three instruments throughout her school years and at University. Shortly after taking up the fiddle in High School Amy found a love for folk music and has toured Canada, America and Germany singing and playing this style of music. Amy's passion for folk music has flourished and her singing songwriting has seen her perform on BBC Scotland's Radio show 'Take the Floor' and the 'BBC Proms in the Park' to name but a few.

Amy has extensive experience playing and singing at weddings and various different events and she will do everything she can to meet individual requests. Please do not hesitate to get in touch for further information or any questions you may have.
