About this Act
BITTERROOT is a fun, energy packed four piece with a huge repertoire for all ages. They engage the audience and create a party atmosphere.
The core of the playlist is quality americana and pop/rock with a bluesy edge - from Ray Charles and Nina Simone via Bruce Springsteen and Ry Cooder to Elle King and London Grammar - you'll hear lots of instantly recognisable songs, all with a completely original makeover.
The line up is unusual in that it consciously avoids the three guitars and drums cliche, by featuring slide guitar, mandola, double bass and e-percussion for a more textured and richer variety of sounds to suit the band's versatility.
The vocal harmonies are superb and the lady out front packs power with great control.
