About this Act
Ron Jappy has teamed up with Glasgow based guitarist Dave Series for a duo project. Ron was one of only 8 finalists to be invited to the prestigious Glenfiddich Fiddle Championship in Blair Castle and has been invited to perform in the Highlands & Islands Fiddle Masters in Oban in March 2012.
Dave studied guitar at Trinity College of Music in London and met Ron through the music scene in Edinburgh. The duo consists of fiddle and guitar and has a fresh, new sound taking influences from a number of genres from jazz to traditional. Ron & Dave are available for intimate gigs such as pubs and hotels as well as corporate and bigger functions.
