About this Act
Fi & the Funk Rockers are an Edinburgh based covers band fronted by the powerful and established vocalist Fiona MacEwan. They play Funk, Soul,Rock, Pop and Blues covers. They're all professional musicians of many years in tribute, wedding/functions and corporate events They are dynamic and engaging, with an edgy cool vibe and an infectious on stage energy. They offer something different to your average wedding/function band. They have a wide and varied repertoire and will learn songs on request for your wedding or event. They play everything from Blondie to Billie Eilish. Book them today and you wont be disappointed!
Lead singer Fiona has sung for many years in top Abba and Soul tribute bands, several popular wedding/function bands and acoustic duos. Also sang in the Gospel Truth Choir where she supported Sir Tom Jones for Celtic Connections, Donny Munro ( Ex Runrig), performed along side Ricky Ross (Deacon Blue) and sang for the lead cast at the press launch of The Lion King at The Playhouse Theatre in 2013. She is also a session vocalist and sings and manages her own acoustic duo Fi & Me.
