About this Act
Alice Thompson is a classically trained Composer and Pianist who has been influenced by composers such as Philip Glass, Ludovico Einaudi and Michael Nyman. She performs a wide repertoire of Classical, Minimal, Contemporary and Jazz Piano music and is a wonderful choice as an entertainer for weddings, corporates, and any other type of event. Her main musical areas of expertise are the genres above and Alice is also able to perform many Pop/Rock covers and can take specific song requests.
Alice always takes the time to discuss with her clients their specific needs and is happy to suggest suitable repertoire to play at an event. She is equally happy to play requests if they are arranged prior to her performance. Alice will play the Piano at a venue or can arrange for a real Piano (upright or grand) or electronic Piano to be delivered to the venue holding your event by prior arrangement. Alice has a keen interest in Piano design and the development of the Piano as a musical instrument and as such has played on many unusual Pianos such as the PH Piano. She is happy suggest and organise for such an instrument to be incorporated in to her client's events.
London based, Alice plays most frequently in exclusive London venues and at private parties - but will travel anywhere to perform.
