About this Act
The Jazz In Paris project is a unique solo act featuring French-American singer of note Eve Buigues on Jazz Ukulele and vocals. Eve performs inspired jazzy adaptations of songs originally performed by the likes of Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, and Nat King Cole, amongst others.
Additionally, she plays lovely adaptations of popular hits such as The Eurythmics' Sweet Dreams or Sam Smith's quintessential Money On My Mind, as well as a range of 70's favorites (Imagine Me And You, Dream A Little Dream, California Dreaming...).
But what really separates The Jazz In Paris Project from other solo Jazz acts is a set of traditional French songs like Edith Piaf's La Vie En Rose, or Charles Trenet's La Mer (Beyond The Sea), which Eve performs in French. In a charming, unassuming way, The Jazz in Paris Project brings a touch of class and romance to any event. She has performed at T In The Park, The Edinburgh Botanical Gardens, The Edinburgh Castle, The House of Lords in London, The World Music festival in Cardiff, The Isle of Bute, and prominent Jazz venues around London.
