About this Act
The Saltire Street Band is a New Orleans Mardi Gras style brass band that will get your feet tapping whatever the occasion!
The group is formed with some of Scotland's finest brass, wind and percussion players all well versed in the New Orleans style. These talented musicians have playing credits including the Scottish National Jazz Orchestra, Nicole Scherzinger, Heritage Orchestra, Boy George, West End shows (such as Book of Mormon, Fiddler on the Roof, Lion King), Hue and Cry, Scottish Saxophone Ensemble and many more!
As with the bands in New Orleans, the group can play whilst roaming around, perfect for a drinks reception, leading guests to another venue or outdoors event. Equally, the group can expand and do full blow function, Pop and cover tunes with singer and larger backing section.

This act's standard set times are as follows:
