    About this Act

Old Baby Mackerel are a Bluegrass band playing the fastest music to come out of them deep southern states. They can raise the roof with their fast paced shredding banjo music or almost bring you to tears with their sweet 3 piece vocal harmonies, as they sing of love, murder, whiskey and all other things Country music.

Old Baby Mackerel are purveyors of all thingsBluegrassy and Old Timey and come armed and dressed to the teeth in bolo ties, dungarees and possibly a pair of snakeskin boots, yee-haw!

They are a professional act who have performed at many highly regarded international Bluegrass festivals and have been a strong mainstay of the UK festival scene for many years playing the likes of Glastonbury, Boomtown and Shambala. In addition to this they also have extensive experience playing weddings, private parties and corporate events and are guaranteed to bring a touch of Appalachia to any event.
