Boondock are based in Brighton and play frequently around the south east and the rest of the UK. They have played everywhere, form the smallest pub in Hove to the grand Krkonoše mountains in Poland!
Boondock are a young upbeat folk band specialising in traditional songs from the British Isles and Europe. Hailing from Brighton they play extensively around the UK to excited audiences.
They play an eclectic range of traditional instruments including the accordion, fiddle, banjo, mandolin, tin whistle, balalaika and bones. As well as English and Irish tunes Boondock sing a range of old songs in Cornish, Russian, Macedonian and Moravian.
In 2012 Boondock played across Europe as part of their summer tour. Going via France, Belgium, Holland and Germany the tour culminated in a headline slot in the beautiful Polish mountains of Krkonoše.
This year’s highlights also included headlining the Crawley folk festival and the Great Eastern Summer festival in Brighton.
