Café Kølbert (above) are a unique wedding act, they are comedy waiters who tailor each of their shows to the event at hand. They entertain for at least an hour, usually during the meal. The “show” starts with them emerging with wine to pour for the guests, this is an excuse for our actors to interact, in character, with the blissfully unaware attendees. The waiters are quite subtle to begin with. Then the Maitre D’ character blows their whistle to get their staff to line up for an introduction of themselves. The Maitre D’ will also make a specially tailored speech about the party and its guests which has been previously put together using information from a questionnaire filled by the client. Then it’s back to work for the waiters who, as their cover is now blown, are braver than ever. The close interaction with the guests is now added to by spontaneously bursting into a song, poem, or something of the like, to the delight of the whole room. After that the Maitre D’ has had enough and it is time for another line up, that also entails a finishing act. The whole show is carried out with the guests still able to eat, drink, and talk to each other.
Lorena (right) is a soulful jazz vocalist with a great knack for tailoring her sets to suit the event. Best known for her sultry jazz and soul tones, she is also able to cover Motown and pop songs should your event require it. Having played at venues including the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, the O2 in Glasgow and numerous festivals, Lorena is no stranger to wowing audiences of all sizes with her energy and expression. Past clients include HRH Prince of Wales (Prince’s Trust), Gymnastics World Cup 2018 (televised on BBC Sport), Make A Wish Foundation and for many couples on their wedding days. Groovetails (bottom) is fronted by an outstanding female vocalist and led by a very experienced band leader & song arranger. The band is made up of 6 outstanding and experienced musicians and between them they have four BA hons degrees in Music! It’s also probably best to mention that many of them are full time musicians working extensively in the industry as session players/singers and even composers for television and film. With an incredibly versatile set list and unique renditions of songs, the band fill dance floors and become a real talking point at Weddings, Corporate Events
and Parties. Clients often tend to book the band because they seek an amazing party act that can seamlessly merge a variety of styles, from Modern Pop and Dance hits to Classic songs.
Adam Sale (left) is a solo guitarist and vocalist who performs acoustic covers of Top 40, Pop & Rock Hits from the 80s till today. This takes in acts as diverse as Taylor Swift, Busted, Sam Smith and Abba. Adam describes his performance as: friendly, lively, upbeat, cheerful, highly professional and above all, affordable. He is a very experienced performer, regularly taking on work at weddings, formal/corporate events, birthdays, engagements, baby showers, Xmas parties, at rivate events, in bars, in restaurants and occasionally takes on intimate/romantic requests for proposals and the like!
