Nothing reeks of classiness like classical music, and the range of classical acts for weddings in Scotland we have on the books is continuing to grow…

Hoot (above) is Helen MacLeod and Emma Wilkins and form Scotland’s award winning Harp and Flute duo! As recent recipients of both the Enterprise Music Scotland Residency Project and the Tunnell Trust for Young Musicians, Hoot have dazzled audiences with their eclectic mix of music and sparkling personalities. Hoot are also much in demand for weddings, corporate and function events and can provide the perfect music for your special occasion. As versatile musicians, individually they have performed with groups ranging from all of Scotland’s professional orchestras to Belle & Sebastian and Texas.

QuintEssential are a five piece wind ensemble comprising of Siobahn Daly on Flute, Colin on Oboe, Emma McFadyen on Clarinet, Molly on Bassoon and Michael Berrich on French Horn. They specialise in classical, popular and Scottish music and are the ideal alternative to the string quartet. Their sound blends perfectly to create a beautiful ambience suited to any number of occasions including weddings, recitals and corporate events.

Banyuls Saxophone Quartet (right) is a professional ensemble based in Edinburgh, specialized in entertaining a diverse range of events since 2007. This unique and sophisticated ensemble will add style and distinction to your special day with a blanket of music being as elegant and refined as a String Quartet, but also as stylish and sophisticated as a Jazz trio. Moreover, the versatile saxophones will be able to play most delicately at a small gathering, but also to provide a penetrating sound that will fill any outdoor reception.

Ten Strings are an exciting new Scottish duo consisting of Iain Coleman and Jackie Baxter. Together, they have performed a number of times at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, including at the prestigious Big Guitar Weekend, and are regularly in demand for weddings, functions and other corporate events and ceremonies throughout Scotland. Ten Strings perform a wide range of music to suit any occasion, and can also make their own musical arrangements by request.
