The band’s extensive set list covers various sets, from a swinging jazz set by The Rat Pack, Harry Connick Jnr, Michael Bublé, and Frank Sinatra, to a modern floor filler set with the likes of Mr Brightside, Sex on Fire, Valerie and Chelsea Dagger, and from soul favourites by The Blues Brothers and Stevie Wonder to party favourites like Brown Eyed Girl, Higher and Higher, and All Night Long, this versatile band has a set to suit all!
The BBQ provide quality musical entertainment for weddings, parties, corporate functions and any other special occasion. The band consists of experienced jazz musicians based in North Wales/North West. They have a large and diverse repertoire ranging from New Orleans, through the tin pan alley classics, the swing era, and mainstream jazz recalling the classic small groups of the 1930’s to the ‘Blue Note’ era hardbop styles, performing standards and bebop favourites from the 40’s and 50’s.

Pickup The Pieces was formed by Simon Pickup, who had met a number of talented musicians in the Manchester area, whilst playing at various functions and productions. With a passion for music and entertaining, he set about forming this funky covers band.
