New wedding acts added to the Freak Music roster

Rock of Ages Experience
Rock of Ages Experience

Since launching the new site at the tail end of the year we’ve had veritable tsunami of new bands and acts get in touch wanting to be part of the Freak Music roster, which is nice. Here’s a handful of the stand outs  of the wedding bands for hire that have come on board in the last week.

The Rock of Ages Experience (above) is a tribute to the music of the smash-hit Hollywood musical and film featuring Tom Cruise and Russell Brand among others. The big, bad eighties never left us and now the party goes from strength to strength. Stadium rock, power ballads, lycra, lace and liquor. The hair is big, the costumes small and anything goes. Almost.  The act play some of the greatest rock songs of all time including songs from acts like Foreigner, Journey, Scorpions, Bon Jovi, Whitesnake and Def Leppard to name but a few.

Broadway Babe
Broadway Babe

Featuring all your favourite old school Broadway and West End numbers that will Razzle Dazzle and have you toe tapping all the way home. Broadway Babe (right) includes shows such as Phantom of the Opera, Mary Poppins, Chicago, Oliver, Cats, Les Miserable, Oklahoma, West Side Story and Many more. Wether you want to sit back and enjoy this is a show not to be missed!

With stunning costumes, scenery and props this one woman show will take you on a musical journey of nostalgia, so be prepared to be vocally stunned, visually enthralled but best of all what does the Broadway Babe do best?… Make em laugh, Make em Laugh, Make em LAUGH!!!!!

Jacks Duo

Leeds based rock and pop act the Jacks Duo (left) are Sophie Massa and the vocals and piano/guitar ability of Robert Sanders.  Their repertoire spans the decades as well as the genres and includes the likes of Tina Turner, Jessie J and the Beatles and they can provide not only the main entertainment for your event but also tasteful background music.

Manchester based piano singer Carolina Garcia-Cox (below) cut her teeth in musical theatre and as such has a vast range of styles she can call on and this is reflected in her repertoire which takes in songs as varied as the jazzy stylings of Moon River, the pop sensibilities of the likes of Michael Jackson and modern songwriters such as Ed Sheeran.
