Here’s a few of the recent popular Scottish wedding options for hire through Freak Music for 2014 and beyond (we took a booking for a band for 2016 recently, some organised people out there…).

Soul Inferno (above) are a professional & experienced 6-piece male & female lead live show band with excellent vocals & brass. Performing songs and dances that authentically capture the sounds and style of classic tracks from the 60s Motown, Funk & Soul era, 70’s discos and Abba, right through to modern day R& B & Pop. The band also perform a fully called ceilidh set. Formed in spring 2004, Soul Inferno are a group of talented and passionate musicians who’s sole aim is to get your party into full swing whether it’s a wedding or corporate function. The band use a full PA & lighting rig and can include a disco in their package. You can catch them live at the Edinburgh Jam House tomorrow night.

Gerry McCulloch (right) is a Glasgow based pianist and vocalist with 20 years professional experience. He is classically trained, and started playing the piano aged 4 and his piano & vocal talents are much sought after and he will provide musical entertainment for functions of all sizes. From The Beatles and other 60s classics through Billy Joel and Elton John all the way up to modern day chart hits, Gerry’s set list is vast and eclectic. Gerry is a resident favourite at The Corinthian Piano Bar in Glasgow.

If it’s ceilidh you’re after, Celtic Horizon have been full time musicians for many years now. Celtic Horizon formed in 2000 and have toured extensively around the UK and Europe. Both being lead vocalists gives them a big sound for a duo. They are also lead vocalists in other bands Beggars Row, Celtic Hearts, The Triple Scots and Celtic Horizon Crazy Clan. Celtic Horizon have performed at all types of concerts from the smallest venues, corporate events, weddings, theatres to large festivals including a few famous Scottish castles.
