Bit of flash-mob, bit of Burlesque, bit of Chic and a bit of Bambam on board for wedding act options this week.

We’ve had a gloriously eclectic mix of acts get in touch in the last few weeks looking for representation on the Freak Music roster. Despite their varied nature, they’re all available to book as wedding acts and bands. Here’s a few for your perusal.

The Buzztones (above) are a London based all male A Cappella vocal group who have made several appearances on BBC’s The One Show, singing for the likes of Barry Manilow and Anna Kendrick. The also performed the national anthems at a sold out Twickenham for last years Rugby World Cup, they are fast becoming London’s premier A Cappella act. They are masters of flashmobs and bespoke performances and can be booked as a 6 piece up to a full on 12 piece group and specialise in A Cappella mash ups and medleys.

The wonderfully named Bambam and the Bobcats (below right) have spent the past two years establishing themselves as one of the North West’s premier wedding and party bands. With a wide ranging set list of popular, floor filling hits spanning the past 5 decades, the band pride themselves on making your special occasion a night to remember.

issue. Got a bigger venue?……no problem, roll out the big speakers and let it rip!

All Night Chic (left) are the first tribute to Chic with Nile Rodgers, in the UK. Comprising 8 musicians who are passionate about classic funk and disco music and guarantee full dance floors at every event. From the very first song Everybody Dance the band kicks in with some super funky grooves and keep everyone dancing right until the Good Times finale. As well as Chic classics this UK based tribute band can include other disco & funk songs in the set list if requested, playing tracks from the likes of the sadly late David Bowie and Daft Punk.

Lulu Vesper (bottom) is a quirky jazz singer, sure to bring a touch of elegance, charm and cheekiness to your event. She has made her name from her silky, smooth vocals and her engaging performance, singing primarily jazz and swing, Lulu will tailor her set list for your event. Say you’re having an alternative wedding and would like some classic jazz standards to accompany your reception. Maybe you’re putting on a vintage 1940s event and would like some Andrews Sisters and Vera Lynn. Or perhaps you’re having a party and fancy some jazzy arrangements of pop songs. Influenced by artists such as Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Frank Sinatra, Imelda May and Postmodern Jukebox, Lulu is always learning new repertoire and her versatility means she can work with you to make the music fit perfectly with the style of your event. Lulu is never without her classic vintage microphone and vintage-inspired attire. Lulu was the winner of Miss Pinup UK 2015 and understands the ins and outs of the vintage style! So if you’re looking for a quirky, glamourous, memorable performer for your event, Lulu may just be your lady.
