Welsh wedding bands and acts.

Hannah from iPop

Having being doubly cursed by being both Scottish and a rugby fan, I’ve spent too much of my time and money watching Scotland get beat at the the sport by Wales. However, I don’t mind much as they’re top people and to be honest Scotland vs Wales at Murrayfield is to all intents and purposes a Welsh home game, it’s just a sea of red shirts and blow up leeks…

Our continued recruitment drive around the UK has hit quite fertile ground in the region, and there’s a serious variety there too, not just your standard Welsh wedding act but slightly more off the wall acts too.

iPop, who are the sister act to iRock (not in a Whoopi Goldberg way) are a young high energy band from Neath who are at home performing floor-filling classics at wedding as they are at corporate functions.

Whisky Business (great name!) are for the client going for the more soul and funk angle and do a mean Baker Street and for the more trad evening there’s alway the wonderfully named HiJinx Ceilidh band. These multi-instrumentalists will perform Celtic, continental and American music for performance or dance and are the only act on the books ( I think) who can call the dances in two languages.

For smaller affairs we can offer you the walking/talking “Radio 1 playlist” that is Matt Cook. He specialises in providing an alternative musical option for people that want live music for their event, but don’t want to go down the “pub and club” singer route and being solo can work out cheaper without sacrificing quality.
