Stuart Ironside is a diverse classical guitarist based in North London, fluent in a wide variety of styles perfect for your event. Having earned a First Class Honours Degree from Cardiff University and studied with the best working guitarists today, including Mark Eden, William Browne, Graham Devine and Gordon Dunn, Stuart is now building a profile as a working guitarist. Stuart has performed in a number of prestigious venues in Cardiff and around his home town in Oxfordshire, including the Holywell Music Room and St. David's Hall and was awarded the John Neville Prize for musical achievement upon his graduation.
Stuart is proficient in a number of genres of music for the classical guitar, including Baroque, Renaissance, Romantic and Contemporary Classical. He also has a great knowledge of Jazz and Folk crossover, as well as transcriptions of West African pieces for the classical guitar. His set lists are able to be tailored to any occasion, and Stuart can provide top quality performances of all these styles. In addition, Stuart also has knowledge of popular music and arrangement, and is able to specially create a moment or tailor a song in the set list for any occasion.
He has a great deal of experience in corporate events in and around Cardiff and Oxford, as well as an extensive performance background. He is looking to perform in a greater variety of events, including weddings, and will work with you to ensure that everything is delivered as you desire.
