The Groovesocks are an exciting, funky and soulful four-piece who offer a refreshingly unique take on the role of the function band. Comprising of keyboards, saxophone, bass and a singing drummer, the group prefer to play the less obvious, but still classic songs.
Their take on Stevie Wonder's For Once In My Life is a firm audience favourite and Super Tramp's Logical Song really grooves along. The band are a tight and experienced unit and are great fun to watch.
Perfect for any occasion, Groovesocks can also provide a top-quality jazz set and organise disco / background music.
Where are they based?
The Groovesocks are based in Scarborough, North Yorkshire and regularly play across Yorkshire and the North-East of England. Any location considered.
