About

Professional vocal ensemble Dieci are a dynamic and exciting group of young professional singers who are ideal for Christmas events. They have performed throughout the country since 2004, and have been praised for their unique sound and vibrant performances.

The group performs a wide-range of music and aims to provide a varied and interesting programme from sacred music through to close harmony arrangements of popular classics. The variety and versatility of Dieci is due to the diverse range of solo and ensemble singing experience that each member contributes.

Particular highlights in the group’s history include performing for James McAvoy, Billy Boyd and Lord Attenborough at the RSAMD Fellows Graduation, and two UK tours including venues such as Canterbury Cathedral, Portsmouth Cathedral and Hatfield House.

In December 2008, Dieci were Grand Finalists of the BBC Radio 3 Choir of the Year competition, the largest and most prestigious competition of its kind in the UK, which was televised from the Royal Festival Hall, London. Howard Goodall, judging, considered them 'excellently controlled, witty, resourceful and technically assured. A lot of fun and very impressive’.
