Without a doubt, one of the freshest and most original voices operating on the contemporary jazz scene today, The Blue Cafe Jazz ensemble blend their unique stye of performing Tin Pan Alley jazz standards and haunting originals to suit any occassion requested . The Café Jazz ensemble is perfect for functions and traditional Burns Night Suppers ( this is available as a set of specially arranged Burns Songs in a jazz style with a piper and plenty Scottish humour).

Featuring the captivating vocals and stunning harp of Magdalena Reising, each performance takes the audience on an enchanting musical journey. Accompanying her are three of the best jazz improvising musicians in the UK, Terry Seabrook on piano and Steve Thompson on double bass,Alex Eberhard on drums , each capable of holding an audience spellbound. At the centre of the band are the bewitching vocals of Magdalena Reising that evoke Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald but in the end are as individual, fresh and original as the band accompanying her.
