About the Band

Boogie Down is a fully live, energetic and groovin' six piece Soul band. Based in Newcastle and widely regarded as one of the North East's premier party bands, Boogie Down is perfect for weddings, corporate entertainment, and almost any other event.

Although their repertoire consists predominantly of Soul and Funk music, they are able to provide music from the 1950s right up to current Pop tunes to ensure they meet each client’s individual needs.

And for added piece of mind, they are able to set-up their high quality sound and lighting rig swiftly and with the minimum of fuss.

Boogie Down specialise in keeping the momentum of each set going, with few stops and an assortment of medleys guaranteed to get your event cookin'!!
