An Evening of QUEEN is the superb tribute show celebrating the music of legendary rock band and the hit musical "We Will Rock You".
The show is performed by a sensational six piece showband comprising some of the finest musicians and vocalists in the UK. All are highly qualified and accomplished sight readers. They are all highly talented and able to represent and perform the music of Queen to an incredibly high standard. The line up features a graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston Massachusetts, and a masters student studying piano performance at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.
The showband features drums, bass, guitar and keyboards along with two highly talented and professionally trained female vocal leads. The two female and one male vocal leads gives the ability to faithfully reproduce not only the music of Queen but also the style and arrangements of the hit musical "We Will Rock You".
An Evening of Queen is proud to be a 100% live tribute act and uses no clicks, tracks or MP3s to enhance the sound. They use top of the range PA equipment to allow the quality of the musicianship and vocal performances to be heard with devastating clarity and precision. They also use an array of visual effects including scanner lighting, LED flood lighting, followspot, visual effects and blackout backdrops to provide the perfect setting for the show.
An Evening of Queen is the 100% live show that is a celebration of the music of Queen and the musical "We Will Rock You" featuring superb musicianship, stunning vocals and a touch of theatrical flair that is quintessential Queen.
Where are they based?
The band are based in Glasgow and Edinburgh and can perform throughout Scotland and Northern England.
