Select Strings were established in 1999. All of this lively quartets members are graduates of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (now the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland) and have performed with many of Britain's leading orchestras.
They have many years experience in performing at weddings and playing at churches and reception venues across Britain as well as many other functions and corporate events. Previous clients have included the BBC, HRH Queen Elizabeth II and Scotlands First Minister.
Select Strings can cater for any situation, from background music to church hymns, from Mozart to Sinatra. You name it, they can provide it.
One of the unique things about the quartet is the range of their repertoire which is updated regularly. Clients are always extremely impressed with how versatile the quartet is.
Where are they based?
The quartet are based in Dunfermline but regularly play across Scotland and the rest of the UK as required.
