About

'Nigel's Nonsense' is a four, five or six piece jazzy musical ensemble recreating the classic toe-tapping tunes that characterised the ‘roaring’ twenties, including the popular music of the early Louis Armstrong, Irving Berlin, Bix Beiderbecke, Joe ‘King’ Oliver, Spencer Williams, Hoagy Carmichael, and W C Handy.

All ensembles feature vocalisations in the style of Thomas ‘Fats’ Waller and audience participation and enjoyment is actively encouraged.

‘Nigel’s Nonsense’ is particularly suited to Corporate Functions, Festivals, Hospitality Events, Parties, Christenings, Bar Mitzvahs, Weddings or Funerals and can provide a memorable ‘jazz night’ or themed entertainment at Hotels, Public Houses or Village Halls.

Where are they based?

The band are based in Inverness and regularly perform within the Highland region of Scotland
