About

The Erskine String Quartet is comprised of four Royal Conservatoire of Scotland graduates and is one of Scotland's most popular and versatile groups.

The players are professional freelance performers, all based in Glasgow with a wealth of experience of playing with various orchestras and ensembles including the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Scottish Opera, Scottish Ballet, Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Viridian Quartet and the Scottish Chamber Music Players.

Comfortable with all genres of music from Classical to Jazz, Folk to Pop, the group have experience in playing at all types of events from background to centre-stage and acoustic to amplified settings. They have several years of event work under their belt including hundreds of weddings and other events across Scotland.

Where are they based?

The Erskine String Quartet/Trio are based in Glasgow, Scotland are are willing to travel anywhere in Scotland including Highlands & Islands and also to North England/London depending on the work details.
