Formed in 2007, and gigging regularly since then, Dancing Feet Ceilidh band are a four piece multi instrumentalist band that offer a broad repertoire of dances and music. Their infectious style and energetic performance suits all occasions from weddings and festivals to corporate events and birthday parties. The band consist of professional musicians whose passion for folk music and dance drives the evening and ensures that everyone is enthralled.

Line up consists of Kate Badcock on flute/alto sax/ backing vocals and calling, Roddy Johnston on fiddle/bagpipes/vocals and calling, Julian Marley on guitar and Euan Johnston on bodhran. The diversity of instruments leads to performances which are exciting and variable, and means that the band can adapt to many situations and provide appropriate entertainment.

Dancing Feet also perform stage sets with a mix of songs and tunes, and with a piper in their midst are the perfect choice for burns night or hogmany.

The band can also provide a 2 piece ceilidh band for those on a smaller budget - in this line up Kate plays piano/flute/vocals and calls, whilst Roddy plays fiddle/bagpipes/guitar/vocals and calls.

Where are they based?

The band are based in Abernethy, Perthshire and Edinburgh, and frequently play all over Scotland and the north of England.They have also perform regularly in Europe and have called ceilidhs in Spanish and French!
