About

Kabuki are a fantastic seven piece function, party and wedding band, located in and around Leeds, West Yorkshire. Combining the sounds of soul, motown, disco, funk, r'n'b, pop, jazz and beat in a repertoire that spans over 70 years, they are able to accommodate many different musical tastes in a package that is finished off with an outstanding level of musicianship, and a feel that cannot be beaten.

Available for weddings, corporate events, private parties (or any excuse for a good time), Kabuki can deliver the soul to a party and get people on the dance floor. Quite simply, they are the best choice for any function, large or small!

To add value to their excellent performances as Kabuki, background music can be provided in the form of a jazz quintet, quartet or trio. This is an excellent accompaniment to any function (for example, a wedding breakfast) and can easily be arranged at request. They can even arrange music for a wedding ceremony, playing piano or as an acoustic duo. With a state-of-the-art sound system, lighting, top-notch instruments and equipment (which is all fully PAT tested), Kabuki have the knowledge, feel and gear to make your night amazing. Of course, they are also fully covered by public liability insurance.

Kabuki's manager, sound engineer and DJ, Keith Varley, has years of event management experience. As sound engineer, he can ensure meticulous attention to the band's sound system for perfection on the night. Being a former artiste with a background in soul, he was a natural choice for Kabuki.

Where are they based?

Kabuki are based in Leeds and gig frequently across the whole of the north of England, but can travel to any area of the UK.
