The Hurricanes are a five piece rock 'n' roll and rhythm & blues band consisting of a drummer, a bassist, a guitarist, a keyboardist and a saxophonist.
This youthful band play 1950s rock 'n' roll and 1960's rhythm and blues with a modern twist covering various artists including Ray Charles, The Coasters, Muddy Waters and The Everly Brothers.
In 2008 the band were sent a letter by Paul McCartney inviting them to his Liverpool gig after he heard their music.
Where are they based?
The band are based in Edinburgh and London and have played around Scotland on several national tours but frequently travel south to play around England and beyond.
