About

The Flaming Ties are a female fronted quirky quartet with a uniquely sassy sparkle. Their style is borne out of a desire to bring the rhythms of Latin, jive and swing to an extensive rock & pop repertoire. They are delightfully original and their fun and frolics have enhanced many events from weddings and corporate events to parties and clubs.

The band have many years of combined professional experience spanning the circuit of international stages in both concert and theatre shows. It is this experience and their friendship that they bring to each event.

The singer has been Professional for 17 years and writes/publishes songs for artists on Universal records. Her songs have been covered by Paloma Faith and Flux Pavilion.

The drummer's credits include Stomp, Blueman Group, Punchdrunk, Warwick arts Center and he has played the Hammersmith Lyric and the Unicorn theatre.

The bass player plays all styles from jazz to rock to funk on both electric and double bass and is currently a regular on the London circuit.

The Guitarist has played for Victoria State Opera and has toured and recorded with American singer Nikka Costa, Sean Kelly, Joey Geia, Ian Moss, Jackie Orzousky and supported Billy Thorpe and Musique Soulchild.

Where are they based?

The band are based in London but play regularly across the South East and the UK.
