About
Gladstone are a highly professional band who provide their clients with the highest level of service. Ruth the lead singer is a very talented and experienced musician who deals with her clients on a personal basis, tailoring the event to their needs. The band have been performing at weddings, private parties and corporate events since 2004 and have gained an excellent reputation on a word of mouth basis.
Arty the Cellist and guitarist is a veteran of the celebrated Chetham's school of music and is regarded as a pioneer in the way he uses the cello in a rock band. He is also an accomplished guitarist as well as ensuring that the band's sound is absolutely appropriate to the venue and the guests.
The other two members of the band, Si and John are also seasoned veterans of the music business who have clocked up years of experience of providing their clients with a first class service.
Where are they based?
The band is based in Newcastle upon Tyne and play across the whole of the North East.
