About the Band

Blending an authentic mix of soul, funk, disco, pop and blues classics spanning across the decades, The Capitals provide a sophisticated mix of musical styles ideal for all music lovers, party-goers and corporate guests. As well as giving a show stopping performance, expect a sharp and stylish image to complete the package.

Since being launched onto Edinburgh's live music scene, The Capitals have provided the entertainment for the official opening party for the Edinburgh International Film Festival 2008, Gleneagles Hotel, Skibo Castle, Glasgow Hilton as well as numerous high-profile celebrity and corporate events.

Not only do The Capitals present high quality musicianship, but also display a high calibre of showmanship. Fronted with strong female vocals performed by the dynamic Nikki Kent, as well as soulful male vocals, bass guitar, guitar, drums and with the option of a full brass and keys section - The Capitals really are a true class act!
