The Main Street Blues Band are one of the top Blues bands to come out of Scotland in the last 5 years. Originating from Edinburgh, the band brings together a very powerful mix of up-tempo electric blues material, mixed with a great range of Rhythm and Blues numbers that make their show highly entertaining.
The band has been performing around the Scottish and North of England Blues circuit for over 5 years and have a great reputation for putting on a very energetic live show and have an excellent reputation throughout the blues circuit. The band is headed up with Derek Smith (guitar and vocals), Allan Cranston (Ex Hobotalk) on drums and John Hay on bass guitar and on Hammond and Keys, special guest Ali Petrie (Ex Hobotalk). The band can be seen performing at theatres and larger music venues and festivals around Scotland.
