Based in Newcastle upon Tyne, The Strictly Smokin' Big Band is now a well established ensemble in the North East, lead by trumpeter Michael Lamb.
With a repertoire taking all styles of Jazz and Swing music ranging from Duke Ellington to Gordon Goodwin via Buddy Rich, Bob Mintzer, Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra - there's something for everyone to enjoy.
We are available for all occasions and events at very competitive rates. We regularly provide entertainment for weddings, corporate events, parties, functions, charity galas and a variety of other functions...
Where are they based?
The band is based in Newcastle Upon Tyne and regularly gig all over the North East of England including Newacstle, Sunderland and Durham.
