These variable format groups provide a cool jazz ambience, ideal as a background to a drinks reception, corporate event, wedding or other private gathering eg Birthday, or scaled up to a more dance-oriented role. Using the substantial and impressive programming expertise of The Jazz Bar (Edinburgh's most popular and successful full-time jazz venue) musicians can be formulated in to a 'custom-designed' band to fit almost any occasion.
The key word here is Quality - they only use the very best pro musicians and take great care to ensure a complete match between the customer's wishes and the style of music supplied. Music is mainly modern jazz, but the selection is kept accessible and of wide appeal, with well-known songs and standards. This goes down extremely well with listeners of all musical persuasions.
