Standard Set Times

  • Typically saxofolk is asked to play two 75 minute sets with a 20 minute break. They are happy to vary this as required.

About this Act

Saxofolk is a lively 4-piece jazz & folk ceilidh band based in Edinburgh. The band combines traditional Scottish music with jazz standards and styles to create a vibrant ceilidh experience with a jazzy twist.

As experienced ceilidh callers, the band members can offer accessible calling to dancers of all levels. This is a professional and vivacious young band, whose music is lively and easy to dance to. As well as a ceilidh band, Saxofolk doubles as jazz function band. If you're also looking to book a jazz band, you can kill two birds with one stone when booking.
